Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Welcome to Framed Honors. Framed Honors is a brand of Timshel Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Framed Honors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of framedhonors.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of our made-to-order keepsakes of press coverage. Please read them carefully. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Framed Honors is an independent commemorative-artwork service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or authorized by any newspaper, magazine, broadcaster, website, or other publication, and no masthead, title, or logo shown on the Site or on our products implies any such relationship.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Site, or by placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.
You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to form a legally binding contract where you live, in order to buy from us. If you are ordering on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
We currently sell and ship only within the United States.
2. What we make
We create decorative keepsakes that commemorate a moment of press coverage – a physical piece that reproduces the publication's nameplate, the article as it ran, and an engraved-style personalization plate, printed on metal and offered framed or float-mounted. Our products are independent commemorative artwork made at the request of the featured party, for that party's personal or professional display.
Our pieces are not produced, licensed, endorsed, certified, sponsored, or authorized by any publication, journalist, photographer, wire service, or other third party, and they are not official reprints, licensed reprints, or awards. Where we name a publication, we do so only as a factual statement of where the coverage appeared.
Nothing we sell confers any right, status, credential, or endorsement. Buying, or not buying, a keepsake has no effect on the coverage itself, on your relationship with the publication, or on anything else.
3. Publications, mastheads, and article content
Trademarks. Publication names, mastheads, logos, and other marks are the trademarks of their respective owners. We reproduce a masthead only to identify, truthfully, the publication in which the commemorated coverage appeared. We claim no ownership of those marks, no license to them, and no affiliation with their owners.
Copyright. Article text, headlines, photographs, illustrations, and page layout are typically protected by copyright owned by the publication, a wire service, a freelance journalist, or a photographer, not by us and not by the person the article is about. Being written about does not give you ownership of the article.
We make a single, personal commemorative piece for the featured party, at that party's request, for private display. We do not sell reprints, we do not license article content to anyone, and we do not authorize you to reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any article.
What you confirm when you order. By placing an order you represent that:
- you are the person or organization featured in the coverage, or you are ordering with that party's knowledge and on their behalf (for example, as a gift or on behalf of your employer);
- the details you give us – names, titles, dates, publication, and the article itself – are accurate; and
- to the best of your knowledge, nothing you ask us to reproduce infringes anyone's rights or was obtained improperly.
If you hold rights in an article. If you are a publisher, journalist, photographer, or rights holder and you believe a piece we produced or displayed infringes your rights, please contact us at hello@framedhonors.com with enough detail to identify the work and the piece. We will respond promptly and, where appropriate, remove the material and stop producing it. See Section 12.
4. How you heard from us
We find press coverage in publicly available sources and identify the people and organizations featured in it, and we may mail you an invitation to have a keepsake made of your own coverage. That invitation carries a link to a page we prepared for you.
You are never obligated to buy anything. Our mail is an advertisement from a private business. It is not a bill, an invoice, a legal notice, or anything you owe a response to, and your coverage stands on its own whether or not you order from us. To stop hearing from us entirely, email hello@framedhonors.com and we will add you to our do-not-contact list.
5. Your personalized page
The page we prepare for you is meant for you. Please don't try to guess, enumerate, scrape, or share access to other people's pages. We may take a personalized page down at any time, and we may remove or correct information on it, including at the request of the person it concerns.
6. Orders, proof approval, and our right to decline
Every piece is made to order for one specific feature. Your personalized page is your proof: what you see there, with the options you choose, is what we produce.
- Placing your order is your approval of that proof. Please check the spelling of names, the publication, the date, and the wording on the plate before you order.
- An order is an offer to buy. No contract is formed until we accept your order. We accept it when we begin production, and we will confirm by email.
- We may decline or cancel any order, and refund anything you have paid, if we cannot verify the coverage, if the content appears to infringe someone's rights, if a rights holder objects, if the order appears fraudulent, or if we have made a pricing or description error.
- Small, unavoidable variations in color, tone, texture, and trim are part of a made object and are not defects.
7. Prices, payment, and tax
Prices are shown on the Site in U.S. dollars and include standard U.S. delivery unless we say otherwise. We may correct errors and change prices, products, and options at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you order.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies. By completing checkout you agree to these Terms.
At times we run a reservation flow instead of live checkout: you give us your email and the configuration you want, and we contact you before anything is charged. When that is what you see, no payment is taken and no order is placed.
8. Shipping and delivery
We produce and ship to order. A typical U.S. order arrives in roughly 8–12 business days – about 5–6 business days in production plus an average of 3–5 for delivery – and we will email you tracking when your piece ships.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier, but if a package is lost in transit, contact us and we will work it out with you. Please make sure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for pieces sent to an address you gave us in error, though we will always try to help.
9. Made to order: returns, damage, and refunds
Because every piece is made to order for a single feature and personalized to you, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, for a detail you approved at proof, or because your circumstances changed.
If we got it wrong, that is ours to fix. If your piece arrives damaged, misprinted, or materially different from the preview you approved, email hello@framedhonors.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo (a photo of the packaging helps too) and we will produce and ship a replacement free of charge. If we cannot put it right, we will refund you.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived, including any non-waivable implied warranties.
10. The Site and our own content
The Site, our brand name and logo, our photography, our page designs, our product renderings, and our written copy belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape, frame, or reuse them commercially without our permission. You may of course share a link to your own page.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Acceptable use
Don't use the Site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, impersonate another person, submit content you have no right to submit, or interfere with how the Site works. Don't probe, scan, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass any security or rate limit, and don't use automated tools to enumerate personalized pages.
We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who does.
12. Notices of claimed infringement
We respect intellectual property rights and we respond to well-founded complaints quickly. If you believe material on the Site or on a piece we produced infringes a copyright or trademark you own or represent, email hello@framedhonors.com with:
- identification of the work or mark you say is infringed, and of the material you are complaining about (a URL or order reference is ideal);
- your contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder or the law, and that the information you have given is accurate; and
- a statement that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them.
We will investigate, and where appropriate we will remove the material, stop producing it, and let the affected customer know.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Framed Honors and its officers, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, or out of content or instructions you gave us that turn out to infringe someone's rights or to be inaccurate.
14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We take care with the details we gather from published coverage, but we do not guarantee that every name, title, date, or fact taken from a publication is accurate. Publications make mistakes, and we reproduce what ran. Tell us if something is wrong and we will fix it before production.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms; the “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it. The Terms in effect when you place an order govern that order.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the state where you live. If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
